Taking apart and reassembling the battery for a new set of Yocan Evolve Plus XL Duo XTAL Coil 5 Pack requires no special tools or techniques. This product’s threaded construction eliminates the requirement for the user to master a new skill only to swap out the coil.
Given that coils are one of the most frequently replaced components of the Evolve Plus XL, the decision to maintain the design the same as previous coils was made. Heating and cooling the coil repeatedly weakens it to the point where it may break. Yocan made it so users could swap out their coils quickly and simply by making the design 510-threaded.
This means the coil may be unwound by twisting it to the left, and rewinding it is just as easy.
